Who can enter?
The Awards are open to all businesses operating within the Tairāwhiti Region.
Do I need to be a Chamber member?
No, the Chamber welcomes entries from all businesses throughout the Tairāwhiti Region regardless of their membership status.
Does it cost to enter?
No.
What does it mean if I am nominated?
A member of the public has completed an online form through the awards website to notify the awards team that in their opinion your business deserves recognition as a nominee for an award. A nomination has no bearing on the outcome of any award decision. A nominee must enter on their own accord.
If I am a small business, can I enter?
Yes, small, medium and large businesses are invited to enter.
Can I enter more than one category?
The more categories you enter, the greater your chances of winning the Supreme Business Award. The Supreme Business of the Year will be awarded to the business that achieves the highest rating across the categories (excluding Emerging Business).
Can I enter the two Special Categories alone?
No. The Crowd Favourite category is nominated and chosen via public vote. The Supreme Business of the Year will be awarded to the business that achieves the highest rating across the categories (excluding Emerging Business).
Who gets to see my entry? Is it confidential?
It is confidential. The only people that see your entry are the awards coordinator and the judges.
What are the key dates I need to know if I’m entering?
